Eligibility Criteria
- The student must be in the top 80 percentile in Class 12 board exams of their state or central board.
- Only regular students enrolled in full-time undergraduate or integrated courses in approved colleges/universities can apply.
- Annual family income should not be more than ₹4.5 lakh from all sources.
- Students getting other scholarships or fee waivers are not eligible.
- Distance learning or diploma students cannot apply.
Reservation and Distribution
- Out of all scholarships, 50% are reserved for girl students to promote women education.
- Scholarships are distributed in the ratio of 3:3:1 among Science, Humanities, and Commerce streams respectively.
- There is reservation for different categories: SC (15%), ST (7.5%), OBC (27%), and Persons with Disabilities (5%).
- Special quota is available for Ladakh students within the UT quota of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
